Web design, accessibility, sustainability, civility...
I work with a few friends on web designs. If I don't know the answers I know someone who does. We work cooperatively. Our design team can be as small and as large as it needs to be. Personally I don't see much point to flash. Others do. That's where my friends come in.
I'm interested in furthering human communication. The Internet provides an excellent medium within which to work. Thus accessibility and usability are key components of my thinking.
I've played guitar for thirty years and been composing music most of that time. A lot of my stuff tends toward the socially aware. I improvise a lot. I think that off the cuff music is way more interesting than something that I've played half a million times. When I listen to "live" performances I can almost hear the boredom sometimes. Music is 90% philosophy. It's all in the approach.
I believe that more people need to think about living more simply and within the limits of our bodies. Our communities are designed around cars instead of people. This needs to change. We'll be happier for it. More bicycles, walking, small neighborhood stores, mom and pop shops, milk deliveries, doctor visits, etc.
We all live under one sky. I take this to mean that we have far more common ground than battle ground. Life is all about cooperation.
